On April 13, Jiangxi Society of Fisheries organized experts to evaluate the scientific and technological achievements of the “Creation and Application of Key Technologies for Ecological Engineering of Pond Aquaculture Water Discharge Standard” jointly completed by Jiangxi Fisheries Research Institute and Freshwater Fisheries Research Center (FFRC). The evaluation expert group is composed of five experts, including Academician Cao Wenxuan of the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Luo Guozhi of Shanghai Ocean University, Professor Xiao Diaoyi of Hunan Agricultural University, Professor Yang Chun of Jiangxi Biotech Vocational College, and researcher Hu Huogen of Jiangxi Aquatic Organism Protection and Rescue Center. The evaluation meeting was held online and offline, and the meeting was presided by Academician Cao Wenxuan, the leader of the expert group.

At the meeting, the evaluation experts verified the results on the spot. After inquiries from the experts and answers from the applicants, the expert group collectively reviewed and formed evaluation opinions. They agreed that the results have achieved remarkable results in the standard discharge of freshwater pond aquaculture water and the improvement of aquaculture quality and efficiency, which had important promotion and application value, and generally reached the domestic leading level, and the main technology has reached the international advanced level.

It is reported that Chairman Wu Xiaoping, Secretary general Wen Chungen, Deputy secretary general Jian Shaoqing of Jiangxi Fisheries Society, Researcher Chen Wenjing, deputy director of Jiangxi Fisheries Research Institute, Researcher Chen Jiazhang and Meng Shunlong of the Dept. of Fisheries Environmental Protection of FFRC also attended the meeting.
