“The epidemic itself is the order, prevention and control is our responsibility.” Since the outbreak of the novel coronaviruspneumonia, Wuxi Fisheries College keeps studying and followingrelated instructions on the prevention and control of its spreading, given byPresident Xi Jinping, different levels of governments as well Nanjing Agricultural University.Taking epidemic prevention and control as the top priority at present, WFC strictly fulfills its responsibilities, takes scientific and effective measures and resolutely implements the detailed control measures over the epidemic, laying a solid foundation for the actual protection of the health and life safety of teaching staff and students throughout the college.

Guarantee the strict prevention and control mechanism

In order to effectively carry out epidemic prevention and control, a leading group headed by Dean Xu Pao and Vice Dean Ge Xianping was set up, and a working group was set up to compact responsibilities and promote the college's epidemic prevention measures. Since January 25, the college has held 14 work conferences on epidemic prevention and control, and formulated working plans of different levels. 

     Accurately grasp the dynamics of teachers and students through smooth communication mechanisms

Since the outbreak, the college quickly established a joint prevention and control information management system, divided the college teachers and students into 9 "classes", and carried out full coverage measures of their dynamics. Firstly, each class is assigned a temporary head teacher, responsible for comprehensive screening and dynamic information tracking of related members. The second is to strictlyfollow the municipal prevention and control requirements, and complete the online dynamic reporting of all the 416 teachers and students. Thirdly is to adhere to the "one-on-one" daily safety system to track their real-time health status and activity trajectory of each student and ensure their safety.
