Focusing on the defects of the existing breeding technology of Protosalanx hyalocranius in saline-alkali areas, this invention provides a simple and practical breeding method of Protosalanx hyalocranius in saline-alkali water bodies.
With this method, acclimatization will be started since eggs being fertilized. By increasing gradually the water salinity and alkalinity during artificial incubation, the adaptability of the fries to saline-alkali waters can be improved due to their ecological plasticity. Meanwhile, through optimizing the procedures such as brooder selection, the formulation of acclimatization solution, artificial insemination, artificial incubation, hatchery management, etc., this method increases the survival rate of the newly-hatched fries under high salinity-alkali conditions and decreases the aberration rate, laying the seed foundation for further improving the success rate in the transplanting of Protosalanx Hyalocranius in high salinity-alkali water bodies in the North.
