On March 15, the first panel meeting of national technology system for conventional freshwater fish industries in 2016was convened in FFRC, the system execution expert group members and chief scientist office staff attended the meeting.

The meeting learned "twelveth'five-year' overall performance of chief scientists in modern agriculture industry?and main tasks for thirteenth five plan stage, and speeches from Mr. Liao Xiyuan, director of science and education departments of the ministry of agriculture and Ms. Liu Yan, deputy director of science and education departments of the ministry of agriculture. Prof. Ge Xianping, chief scientist of national technology system for conventional freshwater fish industries made a speech, 搃t is very not easyto secure a stable support from the modern agriculture industry, the main content of 13^th five year plan is to clear the storage and make compensations for shortcomings, the main development goal is to reduce the amount while improving the quality and efficiency, thus to raise the competitiveness of the conventional freshwater products. In the process of industry extension, we have to watch out for the risks, and develop new products which are more welcomed by the younger generations; In terms of operation and management, pay attention to the experience summary and methods of innovation;Across the system, we must pay attention to the resources integration.

According to the arrangement of ministry of agriculture for the 13^th five year plan, the execution expert group also discussed about the main tasks, multi system cooperation, and basically established two most important research topic which will be conducted by the aquaculture and engineering, processing labs, and four key tasks for genetic breeding lab, disease prevention lab, nutrition and feed lab and industry economy lab, the group also raise up 25 basic data platform. In terms of multi system task, our system will conduct two tasks, which are intelligence aquaculture development and demonstration and aquatic products output and price prediction system. The execution group also sorted out the key achievements from the 12^th five year plan, and gave out evaluation of them.

This meeting made fruitful outcomes and made sure about the basic developing direction and contents of the system for the 13^th five year plan, which also laid a foundationto carry out tasks smoothly in the future.
